From Seattle comes one of the best band in circulation, the Trap Them. A combination of old-school Swedish death metal, punk and d-beat. Unmistakable influences, ranging from classic Entombed or Black Flag to palates footer for things like Nasum or Tragedy.

CARLTON MELTON
(USA - Agitated Records)
After the run of the Zen Guerrilla, a band of fuzz / psych / punk most underrated of all time despite the releases on Epitaph and Sub Pop, Rich Duvall and Andy Millman waited more than five years before returning to the stage. Carlton Melton is the name of the new venture: a psychedelic space and make a slow burning sound narcotic that if at times may recall the classic bune petrifying of Kyuss in slow-motion, at other times part of a tangent drone with depth and emotion.
Ludicra
At the tenth year of operation the Ludicra (with members and former members of Impaled, Wolves In The Throne Room, Exhumed and Hammers Of Misfortune) is still a powerful and creative but indecipherable hybrid between punk and black metal.
